Summary
When you feel overwhelmed about money… it’s not you. It happens to all of us at times.
I've listed three legit reasons why we often feel worried when it comes to money.
3 Causes to Feeling Overwhelmed and Worried About Your Money
1. You don't know where your money is going
Money’s coming in and going out in payments at a rapid pace. Without a simple system to manage your money, it’s easy to get overwhelmed and worried.
Not sure if there’s enough money to pay all the bills and to buy groceries, much less pay down debt or put money into savings.
The uncertainty and unknowing can cause a lot of stress. Unnecessary stress that I can show you how to get rid of.

2. You're looking at everything you have to do and you don't think you can do it with your current circumstances
Student loans… credit cards… medical debt… in the tens of thousands of dollars and you’re barely making minimum payments.
Wanting to build a 6 month emergency fund, but right now your savings account has just $19 in it because of an unexpected expense that wiped out the money you had saved in one swoop.
3. You're letting fear take hold
Fear of the future. Of being stuck. Not making any progress. Fear of money. Not knowing where to start or what to do.
Fear paralyzes us, especially when it comes to money, and we end up doing nothing, except spend more than we want and not pay attention to where our money is going.
If one of these reasons has made you feel overwhelmed and worried about money, there’s hope. You’re not the only one, believe me, I’ve felt like this too and have made it to the other side, where I’m confidently handling my money.
You can do the same!

5 Solutions to Handling Money with Confidence
1. Make a plan for your money and tell your money where to go
Hands down the best (and easiest) way to tell your money where to go is using a prioritized budget.
I figured out this simple budgeting method and have taught hundreds of other women how to budget confidently.
It works so much that I get these types of comments all the time, ‘I’m so excited about setting up my budget!’
‘Money used to be scary, but now I know how to budget, there’s freedom.'
‘I now have confidence with handling money.’
If you want a simple budget to set up that’s easy to stick to, there’s a couple of options for you.

2. do something free that makes you feel better
We all need enjoyment and release in our lives. Doing something enjoyable is a great way to break up the worry and be able to come back to thinking about our finances with a clear head.
And bonus, if you pick something from these articles - you won’t spend any money on the activity so there’s no need for additional worry if there’s enough money.
3. pick one money goal to focus on
Focus all your efforts and extra money into reaching one money goal at a time. You will make much more progress in a quicker time period than you would if you try to do all the things at once.
Paying off debt? Pick the smallest one to focus on. Saving for a bunch of things? Pick the one savings goal that makes the most sense right now.

4. break down your money goals into bite-sized pieces
Instead of focusing on the total $24,000 credit card balance, $37,589 student loan, or the $15,000 emergency fund, break these larger goals into smaller pieces.
You want something that will stretch you to reach it, but small enough that’s doable to get there quickly.
It could be $500 paid off a debt balance or $1,000 into savings. The amount is irrelevant, what’s important are the quick wins. The wins that show you it is possible to do and that you can do it, because you are doing it.
Money Goals Color Pages Tracker ($7) - color in your monthly progress towards your money goals will increase your motivation to find extra money to add to your goal and get you there even faster.

5. remember what god has done and how he's provided
The final thing that really helps you break through the worry and overwhelm about finances is remembering all the times where God has provided for you.
Those times when money was so tight and you didn’t know how you were going to make ends meet, but somehow you made it. Those are examples of how God has provided for you. When you know who He is, how much He loves you, and how He has provided for you in the past, you can take your needs to Him now and know for certain that He will provide for you.
Below is a great passage to remember how much God loves you and cares for you.
Isaiah 43
I have created you, I have formed you. Fear not for I have redeemed you, I have called you by name you are mine. When you pass through the waters I will be with you. And when you walk through the rivers they will not overwhelm you. When you pass through the fires, you will not be burned, for I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel. For you are precious in my sight, honored and I love you.
You can get rid of the worry and overwhelm when it comes to money! You need a simple plan to follow from someone who’s been there and made it through.
Below are ways I can serve you so you can confidently handle money, make progress on your money goals and change your financial future.
This was the best way I have ever heard you explain the prioritized budget! I've read it before, maybe it was your freebie? But, it was GOLD to see you explaining it. It made perfect sense.
