And then there were the recipes. Oh my goodness, the pictures looked so good, I could almost taste them. Yet, the recipes were simply made without a lot of time spent on complicated preparations and with easy to find ingredients.

The story reminded me of when my sister and I would try to deliver a plate of cookies to our friends on May Day, without getting caught. We always had a blast! I would love to set up delivering secret goodies as a Christmas tradition.
Speaking of traditions, there were several other fun and inexpensive traditions shared, including a scavenger hunt and a cookie exchange party. I have always loved getting together with friends, especially over the holidays, and having a great time hanging out and laughing.
I found Christmas with Kids absolutely refreshing and enjoyable to read. There are several ideas I will be using this Christmas season to make it more affordable.
