Save time and money with my best-selling resources in Complete Change Your Finances Bundle.
Let’s get started! I’ll show you how to list an item on Ebay step-by-step, ok?
In fact, if you want to sell something on Ebay right now, go get the item, and follow along with this tutorial to list your item!! I want you to start bringing in some moolah as soon as possible!!
Once you have registered your account on Ebay, click the Sell tab at the top of the Ebay screen.
While there are two methods of selling on Ebay, we are going to click on sell it myself.
Now type in the product that is for sale. If your article of clothing is new, you can type in the UPC or part number. Most likely you will need to enter a short description of the item.
As an example, I am going to list a pair of Hunter boots. In the box, I type Hunter rain boots and click get started.
Select a category
Select a category that fits best with your article of clothing. Because these are women’s boots, I check on the box and click continue.
Create your listing
This page is really important as we need to customize the listing so buyers can find your item.
In the first section, we need to describe the item. In order to create a title, I use keywords that a buyer would search for. In this instance, I am using Women’s Black Hunter Boots Size 8 and then select the condition.
Great tips on taking awesome photos are up next!!

Do you need to have a picture of the item?

Barbara, I think you can list without a picture, but a couple of good pictures will definitely help you sell your item. People are so visual and want to see the condition of your item to help decide to buy.
