Bare Bones Budget
Save time and money with my best-selling resources in Complete Change Your Finances Bundle.
After a lot of trial and error, I found a method of budgeting that worked really well for any income, a bare bones budget with prioritized expenses.
My income has been all over the board and this budget has made such a positive difference in how I handle money, regardless of how much comes in each month.
You start the budget off with the essential expenses being paid first-food, lights/water, housing, and transportation, so there is always enough money to provide for your family’s needs.
When money comes in, start at the top of the budget and work your way down the list paying what you can with that check. Continue working your way down the list with the next check.
This method has made budgeting a lot less stressful and helped balance out the income. I knew my family’s needs were always taken care of first.
It’s really a simple change to move the most important priorities to the top of the budget and anyone can do it without much headache. But this small change will result in being able to successfully budget your income.
As I followed a bare bones budget, I started to slowly see that yes, it is possible to pay off debt, build up savings and reach money dreams one at a time.
See what the key to a successful budget is next...
